The basic cover under a Personal Accident policy includes Worldwide Accident Coverage (accidental death occurring to the insured person anywhere in the world).
This can be extended to include:
- Permanent Total Disability (PTD) or Permanent Partial Disability (PPD) due to an accident.
- Weekly Indemnity: in the case of Total Temporary Disability (TTD) to perform work duties, and up to a maximum period of 52 weeks.
- Medical Expenses (following accidents): caused directly and exclusively by a covered accident.
